Whee! Just got back from DC, having attended the inaugural festivities. What a *fantastic* experience that was. President Dean (ooo, it gives me shivers to say that) is looking magnificantly... presidential.
Whew, thank god we pulled that off. You know how dubious I was during the primaries. But it actually worked out to have someone who could clearly and articulately the opposition view on Iraq, terrorism, etc. and had the courage to explain the same thing over and over until enough people got it. (Just barely enough, of course. Yet another election too close to comfort. Just think, if they hadn't caught that guy in Ohio red-handed... scary...)
The only bummer... Not having a date at the Inaugural Ball. *sniff* Why did things seem so real with Jed and then so suddenly evaporate? I guess I was just so goddamn convenient when we were on the campaign trail. Over and over, I find some good-looking guy and he then gets snatched up by someone 20 lbs. thinner and 5 years younger. My biological clock is ticking louder than ever, and I'm starting over from scratch yet again.
