It's inconvenient that in spring of 2010 every house in Boston more or less, flooded whether they normally ever do or not. I looked at a place today that had a fairly well concealed high water mark painted over, about 8" above floor. But ya know, my house also has a high water mark 8" above floor and I can count on one finger the number of times our sump has needed to turn on in nine years.
