Hahaha YES! And considering the fact that various volunteer roles have me juggling more balls than I can handle at least through January, and thus actually finding a job would be rather inconvenient, I should continue to use them a bit in that way.

So that explains why a recruiter is useful to job-seekers. I still don't understand how they are useful to employers-- and it's the employers who actually pay them. Puzzling.
