The Arisia website says of Arisia 2009 "This was the largest Arisia to date." I infer from that the 4 day con concept will be judged a success, and next year's will be 4 days long too? What do the SMOF have to say on this issue?
the dance was pretty, but didn't do anything for me, nor other years, as well. plenty of chances to dance elsewhere/elsewhen i guess.
some of the programming just didn't grab me. too ... esoteric? not my bag? i dunno.
the two good movies shown on sunday were nice though.
saturday feel. more parties? more circus? dunno.
honestly, i think the weather was... nothing. a lot of the people i talked to had to work monday, and/or travel to do so/get home. 3 day con mentality and enforced by work/life. i don't really recall anyone being worried about the weather. wasn't even an issue leaving when i did.
a number of artists also just packed it in and were gone sunday. i missed their stuff.
