xmas tree stands

FYI, as of this morning, the Home Depot in Tewksburt (just off Rt 495) had a whole stack of Christmas tree stands. In two different sizes. (All plastic, though. How long are these going to last?)

depends on how it's made and all that? how heavy and the kind of plastic...

but for the ones i've seen, if you don't stress them (leaning tree, monkies, dragging), stored in a good environment, should probably last MANY seasons.

plastics though tend to get brittle, esp in sunlight and heat, so... a few years, maybe ten... probably less than 15.
