I've been looking for a scooba, because cats (both [livejournal.com profile] taura_g and [livejournal.com profile] trowa_barton have real problems visiting during shedding season). do you know what you'll want for it?

(also can I ask, is 'kitchen stuff' things like spatulas and silverware/dishes, or is it going to include appliances?)

I think we will have 2 Scoobas. The one that will be put out on the table obviously for sale has some issue. I think it didn't hold enough of a charge to get through the kitchen. I don't remember exactly, but obviously we felt the need to put it in the basement and get another one. Because you have to do some work to figure out how to get it working, that will be super-cheap, like $5. The one that works just fine (you will probably have to ask about, we probably won't get around to putting out) should be like $100. They're about $400 new. We also have a bunch of Scooba accessories.

Kitchen stuff: I'm just guessing, because Rich Sr. might take some stuff. We still have to sort. But here's a speculative list: small food processor, toaster oven, soup tureens, a few plates, coffee mugs, water glasses, large ceramic bowls, rice cooker, kettles, coffee pot (but NOT the one with the grinder), bread boxes, cutting boards, cake decorating items.

Oh and having owned both a Roomba and a Scooba, I think it might be the Roomba that you want for cat hair issues. I will try to figure out the location and status of the Roomba.

Oh, and I have the Roomba! But the bad news is, I can't find the power adapter. But if you come here any time this weekend, I will give you the Roomba FREE, and then if you can figure out how to get a replacement power adapter, if you want to try that. If all that works out, that would get you a Roomba for cheap.

that would be really great. I will see about getting out there, hopefully during the garage sale part of things. thank you!
