Foolish me, I thought it would stop raining and that the sun would come out and dry out my garden. So I bought a bunch of seedlings. But it has continued to rain a lot over the past 2 weeks. My garden plot is a swamp. I can't plant in that.

Do you have room in your heart (or at least your garden) for some of these plants? I have lots of tomato plants (various kinds), also some eggplant, celery, bell pepper, cukes, and okra.

Not driving into Medford today, it turns out; but I should probably go into Cambridge on Monday or Tuesday, so I could drop off plants on the way then. Any preferences on which vegetables you get?

Get thine arse to the KB Toy/Hobby store on rte 28 in Stoneham (just off of 128) and buy thineself a plastic "hard" kiddy pool for like $10.00. Bring home, poke a few holes in the bottom with a screwdriver, and proceed to fill with dirt. Plant tomatoes/other things.

Viola! instant garden.

(I also have too many tomato plants. so I can't use yours. Do you want some of mine?)

I was away for the weekend and have now had a chance to check my garden. Some of my tomatoes are looking pretty sad, so I might have room for a few if you're still looking to get rid of some. If any of the bell peppers are of the sweet red variety, I could find room for them too.

Speaking of taking stuff off our hands... Have y'all spoken to starheptagon about the certain very large thing? Also, I have another bag of decaf for him.

Since I was away, I couldn't speak up sooner. Glad you found homes for them all.

Starheptagon is aware of the very large thing and I think is still at least somewhat interested, but is currently too overwhelmed with new house stuff to deal with it. Perhaps the next step might be to get it here so frotz (who is also, as always, over-committed) can look it over.
