great news!
May. 22nd, 2004 11:51 pmTalked to Mom. She is feeling way, way better. Apparently she has some form of fungal pneumonia that afflicts people with depressed immune systems. This is fantastic news because a) it is treatable with medication and b) the little spots in her lung are probably not cancerous. Whew.
She is allergic to the cheaper medications that treat this. Fortunately she is responding well to the expensive medication ($800/bottle). Yay for Princeton University's spiffy health insurance.
