Because I'm sickened to see the large-scale destruction of the Earth's wondrous biosphere ("the environment") for the sake of short-term corporate profits, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I'm worried that human activity might accelerate global warming and put some of the best real estate on the planet underwater, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I'm angry that we were lied to about why we were going to war against Iraq, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I'm angry that fighting Iraq has sucked so many resources away from dealing with Afghanistan that we haven't been able to catch Osama bin Laden, the guy who actually staged an attack on the city I was born in, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I'm heartbroken about what happened to the Baghdad National Museum's treasure of Mesopotamian artifacts, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I see the folly of tax cuts for the wealthy as a cure-all for the economy, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I worry that the Social Security "privatization" idea is going to contribute to the continued overvaluation of the stock market, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I'm pissed that in spite of the Republicans' pro-business stance, under their administration my investments in American big business equity have not earned worth shit, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I don't want what the labor movement accomplished rolled back, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I don't want children in this country taught stupid ideological nonsense that will get them in trouble (such as "oh, evolution is only a theory" and "there's no alternative to abstinence"), I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I know personally of one case of a potentially very fine teacher discouraged from going into teaching on account of "no child left behind" policies, and for this reason think that the current administration is doing a bad job with education, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I'm troubled by the idea of forcing a woman to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I think gay people in love are cute, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I don't want the FTC to start meddling in cable television, because my favorite TV shows feature gay sex, nudity, 4 letter words, outrageously outspoken political commentary, and a sympathetic drug dealer character, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
Because I resent Bush for taking office the first time on account of his brother being able to steal Florida for him, I'm aligned with Saddam Hussein.
