Something handy to know if you ever travel to Minneapolis: the fact that your hotel is "connected to the Convention Center by The Skyway" does not mean that your hotel is next to the Convention Center or even anywhere near it. The Skyway is not just a skyway (bridge between buildings); it is a huge maze of skyways, connecting dozens of office buildings, parking garages, and hotels across the entire downtown area. Quite a walk to get from convention to hotel, which would be okay except that my right ankle has been painful. Sorry about the whining...
