recommendations?

Where would you go (either physically or virtually) to buy an inexpensive small laptop with Linux pre-installed (or NOTHING pre-installed)?

Dell has a computer that comes pre-configured with Linux, but if I ordered it now I wouldn't get it until the 19th (or something like that). I need this computer by the 15th.

Acer doesn't sell anything that doesn't have Windows 7 pre-installed.

It just irritates me if, to get a computer by the 15th, Microsoft has to be paid for a crappy OS that I'm just going to delete immediately.

It is very worth your while to google for the service manual before you disassemble the laptop.

Unless it is you intention to wreck the thing.
