+ Pool at Holiday Inn. Getting better at doing laps using crawl stroke.
+ Canonical authentic crab cakes at Philips.
+ Found where to buy the tourist swag in Inner Harbor. Crabby Jack's and Bubba Gump Shrimp Company both have gift shops. (As does McCormick's, weird... Anyone need a gallon of Old Bay?)
+ Dinner and scintillating conversation with lab folks.
+ Figuring out in time that when people say afterwards "hey do you want to come out for a beer?" it is the offer of company that is on the table; the alcohol per se is strictly optional.
+ Indulgence of chocolate desserts at the tapas bar (in lieu of drinks).
