Wow, that went well. Just the kind of big, colorful, ambitious, spontaneous, participatory, fun, messy, self-organized, volunteer-driven event Rich's friends are known for producing. You would think these folks would be running science fiction conventions or art festivals... oh right. The family was very impressed and everyone had as good time as could be expected.
