chhotiiWow, I have quite the list of local nature walk-type things to try out now! Thanks, everyone!
Over breakfast Sophia talked it over and decided to go to Boston after all. (I wasn't hanging out on LJ, waiting for suggestions to come in.) We took the train in, and enjoyed such urban pleasures as pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a bookstore. Never did see Wally the Green Monster, maybe we missed him.
