I did manage to get Sophia's soccer shoes to school in time, but then-- she just would not play soccer! Hmph. How do you get kids interested in doing something athletic?

Had to send the plumber away. He needs to come back with another hose to bring the drainage for the dishwasher up to code.

Take them along to watch friends of theirs playing/practicing sports? That's how my two got interested in karate.

I thought she wasn't playing because of the drizzle. Does she have a class-friend you could get to go to soccer with her?

The drizzle just gave her an excuse that I had trouble arguing with. This happened last week, too.

I think a couple of the kids in Tuesday soccer are some of her favorite friends at school. Doesn't help. Now, maybe if BENJAMIN were in this soccer, that might have an effect. Benjamin is the one kid she will follow into almost anything.

Not that Benjamin could take soccer at a school he doesn't even go to, way out in the 'burbs. But maybe we could think of some way to utilize the B effect to get Sophia more physically active on the weekends, at least. Hmm.
