You know those phony plastic food sets which are sold as toys for young children? I need, specifically, two plastic soft-serve ice cream cones, preferably one chocolate and one vanilla, for an art/science project. Taking pictures of real ice cream would be problematic: I need 16 pictures with the chocolate and 16 pictures with the vanilla, and real ice cream would get quite messy in this process... (I'll offer you a deal: loan me these and I'll explain the project. :)

Meanwhile, I will be trying to merge some picture from http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&q=soft+serve+ice+cream+images into our own photos in Photoshop, but I'm not that great with the Photoshop skillz.

I believe that some professional photographers will use mashed potatoes instead of ice cream. Would something like that work for you?
