A big shout-out to rmd for picking me up and surrealestate for giving me a place to chill out afterwards!
Procedure was fine, sedation was fine. Because of the sedation, though, some annoying things came with that. An IV, which I hated. (Is it supposed to feel like a pinch the whole time?) An automatic blood pressure cuff which kept waking me up as I napped in the recovery room.
No caffeine for me today, of course; so I have been pretty zoned out and sleepy.

Date: 2011-06-23 07:09 pm (UTC)I've given blood quite a few times. The needle doesn't exactly hurt, but it generates that thorn-in-the-flesh sensation which grows gradually more annoying. Pain one can decide to ignore...
