yard sale fun! (yeah, again)

chhotiiI am going to have a yard sale. Either July 19 or 20, depending on which day the weather forecast looks better. It will go from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. I am putting ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
persis in charge; she will be making executive decisions about what things cost, and handle money. Although I will be around most of the time (except taking Sophia to a play-date on Saturday, probably later in the day) you don't have to find me for every question, you can find Persis. I have sorted the kitchen and the man-cave and other areas and identified a lot more stuff to try to sell, in addition to stuff we forgot to put out at the last yard sale. There will be kitchen gadgets, dishes, computer and game console games, plastic bins, miscellaneous hardware items, speakers, and many, many other types of things.
I'm also planning to try to sell off furniture. Depending on how many helpers I get we will probably put some furniture out on the lawn, but who knows how much, and certainly not all of it. Certainly we can't put the enormous curved sectional sofa out in the yard just for the yard sale, right? The plan is that I'm going to post separate ads for the furniture items on Craig's List, but state in the ad that rather than try to arrange specific times with me to come and view items (because that is madness) people who are interested in any of the items should try to come to the house between 10:00 and 1:00 on Saturday or Sunday. I will show people furniture in the house whenever they show up, and the first person to want any particular item wins.
