epic yard sale could use helpers

chhotiiWhat: Yet Another Epic Yard Sale
Where: the house
When: 10 am to 4 pm, Saturday, July 19 for the yard sale itself. (Rain
date is Sunday. Pricing party 7 pm - 10 pm Friday. Furniture showings in
the house 10 am to 1 pm Saturday.)
Why: I sorted the kitchen, the man-cave, and many other areas of the
house; we forgot to put everything out at the previous yard sale; and I
have tons of furniture to get rid of! (And the last one was kind of fun,
wasn't it?)
Who: Persis and Alex will be selling Rich and Alex's stuff.
How: Park on Apple Tree Lane. Acquire interesting stuff.
Kitchen stuff, dishes, computer and game console games, board games, toys,
misc cables, CDs and DVDs, blue ray player, plastic bins, speakers,
household items of all kinds,
and FURNITURE, many items of furniture, couches, tables, beds, desks,
chairs, etc.
Helpers would be greatly appreciated to help sort and price things on
Friday evening and move things out into the yard on Saturday morning.
Helpers get first dibs, free stuff, pizza, beer, donuts, coffee, etc, plus
my undying appreciation.

Do I have chairs!!!
Date: 2014-07-17 03:20 pm (UTC)I have a set of 6 nice ones that match the dining table. I don't want to sell them separate from the dining table unless I'm desperate.
Then there are the CHEAP ones:
I have some number of dining chairs from Rich's family. 4 or 6, I'm not sure. Dark wood with yellow seats. Not very comfortable IMHO.
I also have a few sort-of antique (they were my grandparents'). Dark wood, pastel patterned seats. Two different styles. Not sure how many of either style, as a couple of them have broken and they are all over the house.
There's, I think, 3 lighter-wood (maple?) kitchen chairs, simple style, rounded top back.
And the FREE ones:
I still have 2 or 3 metal kitchen chairs with blue fabric seats. Someone said that they look like they walked out of some Arisia hotel ballroom (somehow). Kind of dirty.
Let me know if you want more info on any of these.
Do you want to come by tonight (Thursday night) or tomorrow night and look at the options and hopefully take some?
