When I was a teenager I showered every morning. I observed that some other kids were considered the "stinky kids", and didn't fair well socially. (I didn't fair well socially either but that was because of social awkwardness.) So, no, not a rhetorical question: how is it that our kids get away with infrequent showering, whereas people in my age cohort didn't as teens?
