Huh. I always found it of tremendous practical usefulness to keep track, to try to guess when the next cycle would start. Very useful for guessing answers to these questions:

1) Should I start wondering if my period is late?

2) Should I use a just-in-case panty liner if I'm going to wear those white linen pants?

3) Do I blame the latest bout of rage and paranoia on PMS, or is there something real that's pissing me off?

So, weird, I never heard of not keeping track... How did you know you were pregnant (either time) if you weren't keeping track?

I was doing very specific ovulation timing for gender preferencing and so was tracking the ovulation, not the menstruation.
Until the weight loss I never had PMS, never wear white because it makes me look ill,and seem to have an inner clock on when I'm about to get my period.
