chhotiiWorldCon has been going on for 2 days, and so far, I've attended at most 2 hours of it. It's rather inconveniently timed for me.
Well, I've made some use of the con so far. What I have to show for my 2 hours of WorldCon attendance:
1) Finding out that no, Geoffrey Landis is not the fellow I knew at Brown, somehow I had confused him with someone else.
2) Acquiring a couple of Lovecraft plushy toys-- a Cthulhu and a baby Nyarlathotep-- at the dealer's room, exactly the decorative touch I had been looking for to add to the flowery wall hanging in the master bathroom.
