Today was more active.

Woke up way early and started puttering around with the sewing machine. Getting less intimidated by the sewing machine, but I fear that that intimidation will all come right back when I actually *pay* for some fabric-- so far it's silly little made-up projects using recycled scraps of fabric.

Went to doctor. Got reassurance that no, I won't be pregnant forever (it just seems that way). Was starting to think that pregnancy was a hoax designed to get me to buy piles and piles of baby gear.

Got even more reassurance on this point by going to visit gosling and family at the hospital. Yup, sure enough, it's a baby! Really cute, too.

Scooted home just in time to miss rush hour, blowing off the trip to Microcenter.

what kind of projects you planning? I have loads of fabric. OTOH a trip to the discount tables at Fabric Place can be fun!

Curtains!

Starting with curtains for the kid's room, so something colorful and juvenile. But the whole house needs curtains.

Hmmm- most of my scraps are not big enough for curtains. Sounds like the bargain bins at FP are the place to go!
