chhotiiHere's my typical weekly schedule. I would love to see you, this should give you some idea of when is and isn't a good time:
Sunday morning: I generally have Sophia while Mom goes to church and Rich plays soccer, so Sunday morning would be a good time for Sophia and I to do kid-friendly hanging out in kid-friendly places with other people who have kids.
Sunday afternoon: Usually a good time to get together with me, Rich, and Sophia.
Sunday evening: Sophia and I turn into pumpkins early, as I have to get ready for the next day's work and daycare.
Monday: I work and Sophia has daycare. It's a really long day and we get back late and exhausted.
Tuesday morning: is when the housekeeper comes over. Usually Mom supervises the cleaner, so I can go out and do things-- which is good, because I like to get Sophia out of the way of the cleaner. A really, really good time for Sophia and I to visit other families with kids, or to go somewhere with good kid-friendly activities that will keep her amused all morning, such as zoos, the aquarium, Science Museum, Children's Museum, parks, etc., etc., etc.
Tuesday evening: might be okay for a kid-friendly dinner out or other laid-back entertainment, as long as it doesn't go too late
Wednesday: Usually I work, Sophia stays home with Grandma. Commuting to Boston by myself is so much easier and more relaxing than commuting with a toddler that I sometimes come home positively refreshed, ready to go out (with Sophia) in the evening to some low-key event such as OPN. Can't commit to it, though.
Thursday morning: Another good time for Sophia and I to go out and visit other kids, museums, etc. Unlike Tuesday, we could also receive visitors on Thursday mornings.
Thursday evening: Sophia and I turn into pumpkins early, as I have to get ready for the next day's work and daycare.
Friday: I work and Sophia has daycare. It's a really long day and we get back late and exhausted.
Saturday daytime: Often Rich will take Sophia out so I can Get Stuff Done. If you want to go bowling or some such thing with Rich and Sophia, this would be the timeslot.
Saturday evening: Maybe Grandma will babysit! Maybe Rich and I can go out and have a grown-up evening out! Or maybe not.
