voter reg update
Jan. 15th, 2004 06:36 pm* The wonderfully capable roozle talked to the right people and got me a "fan table" on the mezzanine level.
* Massachusetts forms have been fetched (a huge pile) and national forms have been printed.
* A couple of volunteers have materialized and seem to want to make signs.
* Someone is giving me clipboards.... Oh, shoot, I should have asked them for pens as well.
Note: A voter registration drive done at Arisia has to be non-partisan. It would be uncool for Arisia property to seem to be used to support any particular campaign or issue. The sum total of my message when I'm at the Arisia-supplied table is "Vote!"
However, if someone wants to throw a room party for, oh, say, Howard Dean, that's totally independent and Arisia wouldn't have a problem with it. Hint, hint to y'all who have already picked a horse to bet on...
