dumpster day is coming
May. 20th, 2019 11:14 amIt's really fucking inconsiderate to store stuff in a friend's garage and not come get it when asked to do so. And I don't mean a "drop everything and get it now!" demand; folks have had weeks of warning. It's understandable that Kevin left crap behind, under the circumstances; other folks have no such excuses.
Means at my disposal to keep a pile of crap from standing in the way of closing on the sale of the house:
1. Bagster.
2. 1-800-got-junk
3. "Free" section of Craig's List
4. Dumpster
5. 3 mil contractor bags
6. Bonfire
All of these measures require effort and/or expenditure on my part, though. The frustrating thing is that there are probably things that people actually want back (drums, skiis, etc., all lovingly stored), but they aren't getting around to it and still not getting around to it and next thing you know, it will be the pre-Firefly crush of frantic busyness and while Firefly is going on, my deadline will have expired and it all goes into the dumpster before they get back from Firefly.
