speaking of shoes

I'm thinking I should adopt a new policy regarding shoes: Every time a new pair of shoes comes into my life, an old pair of shoes goes out. Then I'll never have to worry about the closet getting overrun with shoes I never wear. I don't need more shoes, I need better shoes. Sound like a plan?

Sounds like a plan. I am also overly-shoe-enabled but have a few favorite pairs I just cannot part with.
