Aug. 29th, 2009 06:38 amBack from Cape Cod a day early, on account of the rain.
All the programmable traffic signs on the way from the Cape, every single one says "Thanks, Ted."
Sophia seems to have developed a skin sensitivity to latex, probably due to her love of those decorative kids' band-aides with cartoon characters on them. Who knew they had latex in them? Only health care workers and condom users are supposed to develop latex allergy, darnit. Also, the skin on her face breaks out, badly, when she eats fruit and gets some juice on her face. I hope this doesn't get worse.

Date: 2009-08-29 11:20 am (UTC)I assume your pediatrician told you that the same protein responsible for the latex allergy is also present in avocado, mango and banana. (I believe there may be a couple of other tropical fruits I am forgetting too).

Date: 2009-08-30 06:42 pm (UTC)That was true all the way out here to western MA, having driven most of the length of the state (both directions) yesterday.
Sorry to hear about the latex thing, that's pretty scary! I wasn't aware of the fruit connection before at all. )-:
