AVOID I-93 north of Boston on the weekends. It's a huge mess. Take the train instead. Really. Seriously.

The construction is on I-93 in Medford on the weekends until August.

They're shifting the northbound is shifting over and sharing the road with the southbound side (two lanes each).

To encourage taking the train, they're offering free parking at Anderson during the construction weekends.

Ya, I saw it today. You also don't want to live near it, like I do, because they are banging away all night. Jackhammer sound, even a mile away, grates on the skull all night. And they're not even working on the bridge closest to my house yet. Ugh.

Other than the problem of having to go out of my way to get on and off, traveling through the construction zone this afternoon was actually painless.
