used book store???

I thought there was a used book store right on Elm Street in Davis Square? I was just on Elm Street-- I think this is Elm Street, I'm at Diesel-- and I couldn't find it. Where did it go???

It went to Porter Square, and then it went bust. If you're looking for your used book fix, there is a delightful used bookstore in Inman Square, called Lorem Ipsum. Their signage is pretty minimal but the store itself is lovely.

You're thinking of McIntyre & Moore, which moved to Porter Square a few years ago, and later closed for good.

long gone. i think the nearest to there now might be in ball square on broadway.

You could also check out Raven Used Books in Harvard Square (JFK Street) and Rodney's Books in Central Square.

MacIntyre and Moore left, I think. And there used to be a remaindered book place (Buck a Book?) where Mr. Crepe is now.
