cell phone
Aug. 29th, 2003 03:50 pmMy cell phone is quite lame about telling me who was calling when I miss a call. It stops showing the number as soon as it goes to voice mail, and even if I go into the menu, it doesn't give accurate info.
So many people call and don't leave a message, thinking, "oh, she's not there." Well, I might be. I might be frantically digging through my purse for the 4 seconds between when I start to hear it ring and it goes to voice mail. I might have just stepped away from my phone for a sec, and be overcome with curiosity as to who called as soon as I return to the phone.
So... even if you really have nothing to say... if you call me and I don't pick up in person (as happens MOST of the time)...
Leave a Message!
LEAVE A MESSAGE!
(Imagine alex stomping up and down here)
Even if you have to stammer... "it's me, I have nothing to say, bye." I will be soooo happy to have my curiosity satisfied, for once, as to who called. That alone will make the message worth it, no matter how moot the communication may be.
Thank you.
