We keep a Sox calendar in the glove compartment in the car for checking our brookline routes, since we're there a lot visiting family. There are other ways to go, assuming we remember to check first.

Not nearly as much of a problem, in my experience. Crowded, yes, as the Green line often is; but nothing like sitting in stopped traffic for eternity.
