Free to a good (or bad) home: a CycleOps, for converting your bicycle into indoor exercise trainer. Something similar to this. Boston-area, can be delivered via Elbows Express, wherever Elbows Express will take this somewhat awkward item. (I can lift it easily, but you wouldn't toss it into your carry-on baggage.)

Is it easy to attach the bike? I have been thinking about this for a while. I wonder if it would help in training Holly not to attack bikes if I was biking in the house. :)

Honestly I've never used it. It was Rich's, it was in the "man cave". But I believe you just set the bike onto it. I believe set-up is quick. Actually somebody else in the condo building here has one, and he uses it in the garage-- he sets it up in his parking space! When he's not exercising, he folds it up and puts it against the wall, and chains up his bicycle elsewhere. So set-up must be pretty quick.

I have no rival takers. Even if you aren't sure, I could drop it off. If you decide against it, or if it doesn't work out for any reason, you can put it on the curb. Otherwise it's just going into the dumpster here. I expect to go to the house on the morning of the 21st so I will be in your area then.

My plans for being in your area this morning might be derailed by Sophia being sick. The CycleOps is rattling around in the trunk of my car now, so I can drop it off any time I'm in the area; but there's a good chance I will have to postpone being at the house until next weekend.

Next weekend is really busy for us. I know that I'm the only person who expressed any curiosity about this item but I'm not sure I have enough interest in it to have ownership of it. Please don't go out of your way for me.
