We got through the "oh dear here are the inspection results" kerfluffel pretty much intact.
Septic system repair/upgrade is on track to be finished this week. (My current theory for how to pay for that is that I should get convenience checks for my credit card sent to me this week; write such a "check" for the final $8,000 due and then pay my credit card bill right after the closing.)
There's the title search to get through. Should be fine; there's no reason for any real title problem. But sometimes there's some stupid baloney where someone forgot to dot an i, or cross a t, and "title problems" delay things.
But we should be good to go for closing on August 15th.
I have various crap and junk and stuff to clear out in the barn and house. More about that later as I try to give stuff away and get stuff to people and figure out what to do with stuff. Worst case, 1-800-got-junk can be there the next day, and definitely takes credit card. I'm sure that it's less than a truckload at worst.
