Kerry expected to be the leader of the pack. But Edwards???

I'm glad I never got to the point of pouring time, money, and energy into Dean. Of course, I do like him, he resonates with my sense of outrage. But I've been worried... is he just a speculative bubble? He appeals to my friends, does that mean he's too weird for the majority of voters?

I have nothing against Gephardt (sp?), but I'm kinda glad he's disappointed. The sooner the field narrows, the sooner they will all start to concentrate on Bush-bashing, right?

Primary still in turmoil. Right. I'm going to concentrate on thinking about voter reg, check out moveon.org, stuff like that.

I have plenty against Gephardt: he's a protectionist, and I firmly believe that protectionism is a dumb idea. His dropping out of the race not only removes the possibility of his getting the nomination, but reduces the chances of it winding up in the Democratic party platform.
