Kerry expected to be the leader of the pack. But Edwards???

I'm glad I never got to the point of pouring time, money, and energy into Dean. Of course, I do like him, he resonates with my sense of outrage. But I've been worried... is he just a speculative bubble? He appeals to my friends, does that mean he's too weird for the majority of voters?

I have nothing against Gephardt (sp?), but I'm kinda glad he's disappointed. The sooner the field narrows, the sooner they will all start to concentrate on Bush-bashing, right?

Primary still in turmoil. Right. I'm going to concentrate on thinking about voter reg, check out moveon.org, stuff like that.

I'm not counting anyone as being out or in the lead yet.
The trick is to keep reminding yourself that any media outlet is trying to fill airtime with vacuous commentary and projections to sell commercials.
Worse, behind that are the owners of the media outlets who likely don't want any of the democratic hopefuls to look good, so they'll keep skewing the reports of who is "in the lead" on a weekly basis until more voters give up in disgust.
