chhotiiI didn't realize that this required registration. So at about 16:15 today, the day before the conference, I started trying to contact registration... Calling the phone number gets me an answering machine, no reason to think that my call would be returned any faster than an e-mail would be replied to. So I sent e-mail to registration. No reply yet, of course.
I would be willing to say "oops, I missed registering" and just not go, but the web page says that the seats of people who have registered but have not shown up by 8:45 will be given away. To whom? To walk-ins, I guess. Actually, it doesn't say exactly that. It says "Because space is limited, we will only hold seats for those who have registered until 8:45 AM on the morning of the conference." If your seat isn't held, then what happens to it? Given to a walk-in, or stacked up in the hallway? So, no clue as to whether one can arrive late and/or without having registered and still participate.
I just want to KNOW if I should get up early tomorrow, or not.
