sympathies for everyone
Jan. 7th, 2004 04:27 pmI don't tend to do the *hugs* comment on every post that calls for sympathy. If I don't have something to say, usually I don't comment for the sake of commenting. Sometimes I have something to say, but it would sound unsympathetic if I didn't spend a lot of time weaving tack in. In those cases I don't comment either, unless I know that the poster has thick skin and a sense of humor.
I hope I don't seem unsympathetic just because I have LJ and so I must have seen your outpouring of pain. Then again, I don't get much gratuitous sympathy on my own posts, in general. Perhaps people know it's not my style.
Or perhaps I am unsympathetic. I'm such a marble cake of good-hearted cuddly sweetness and mean misanthropic bitch.

You say that like it's a bad thing?
