In his first (and hopefully only) term, George W. Bush has acted like a madman-- neglecting the anti-terrorist efforts initiated by the Clinton administration, leaving us vulnerable to the attacks of 9/11; redirecting our nation's anti-terrorist efforts into an irrelevant, senseless and illegal war against Iraq, and an attack on the civil liberties of our own people; fostering an environment in which the torture and sexual humiliation of prisoners is tolerated, in violation of international law; caused people around the world to hate us and our allies to distance themselves from us, completely pissing away the sympathy of the world we had right after 9/11; and rolled back years of progress on environmental and labor standards.

Just try to imagine what he would do with a second term! This is (supposedly) a democracy, so we, the American people, have only ourselves to blame for whatever horrors this man unleashes in a second term.

Give money to Kerry for President

Give money to a political action committee that opposes Bush (moveon.org, League of Conservation Voters, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, etc.)

Give money to the DNC

Display an anti-Bush bumper sticker

Display a John Kerry bumper sticker

Display a John Kerry lawn sign

Host a house party

Attend a house party

Register other people to vote

Write letters to swing-state non-voters encouraging them to vote (see the MMOB site for details)

Write letters to the editor responding to biased media

Canvas door-to-door

Signed a petition in favor of the proposed legislation to fix problems with electronic voting (bills S 1980 and H 2239??? check that)
