LJ bug?

One instance reported so far of LJ deleting a comment someone left in my journal, without my ever seeing it. Erk.

Yet another way LJ can cause people to be needlessly miffed at each other. Someone was left wondering "why did she delete my comment?"

I'm having trouble imagining a circumstance in which I would delete a comment. Well, I've deleted my own posts, and there go the comments with them, but that's because of what I've said, not what you've said.

I've deleted comments and posts because of misspellings or errors, because I'm an anal-retentive perfectionist. That's about it. :)
