whine, I mean wine, and a poll
Aug. 10th, 2004 02:09 pmThis just spotted: an ad for low-carb wine. Oh my god! What is the world coming to!
Speaking of wine. We have a bottle of non-alcoholic red wine. It's lousy wine, but it occurred to me that it might make decent sangria for the party. Before I go begging skreeky for her fabulous sangria recipe, what do y'all think of the idea of non-alcoholic sangria?
A) Pointless.
B) Yummy!
C) Eh, I'm not a sangria drinker anyway.

Date: 2004-08-11 09:14 am (UTC)Good sangria needs to start with a good fruity wine that isn't too complex or tannic. Usually, if you wouldn't drink the wine, you shouldn't cook with it (or make sangria with it). But all you lose by trying is a bit of fruit juice and club soda. If it sucketh, pour it out.
